After 40, Jennifer decided she needed to balance her love of running with the practice of Yoga. Not only did she reap the benefits Yoga has for the body but also the amazing benefits that Yoga has on the mind and soul. Jennifer loved it so much she wanted to inspire others through the practice of Yoga. She received her 200-RYT certification from her wonderful teacher, Othene Munson, in November of 2016. Jennifer teaches a small group of women in her home studio. She loves to teach to a small class so she can see how everyone is doing in their practice and make adjustments when necessary. Since receiving her Chair Yoga Certification in May 2018 through Yoga Vista Academy, Jennifer feels empowered to teach the older population at seven senior communities in her area. In July 2018, Jennifer received her Gentle Yoga Certification and in April 2020 she received a Wheelchair Yoga Certification through Yoga Vista Academy.
