Karen Langevin was introduced to Yoga when life presented physical health challenges following a car accident in 2012. Twenty-five years working behind a desk and stressful management work had also played a toll on her mind and body. She was craving a new purpose and passion in life which brought her to retire from the public service and pursue a part-time career in teaching Yoga.
Karen is a Registered Yoga Teacher RYT-220 and holds multiple certifications from Yoga Vista Academy including Chair Yoga, Chair Yoga Dance, Gentle Low-Back Yoga and Gentle Yoga. For the past 10 years, she has been teaching gentle forms of Yoga in both French and English in Prince Edward Island, Canada. Since the start of the pandemic, she has built a virtual community of seniors who have fun socializing and doing Chair Yoga and Chair Yoga Dance over Zoom from the comfort of their homes.
